Repositories
Fedora
The plugin is available in Fedora 7, 8 and 9 for i386, x86_64, ppc and ppc64.
To install it, just issue:
yum install gimp-lqr-plugin
in a terminal. The dependencies will be resolved automatically.
Debian and Ubuntu
The plugin is included in Debian Sid and Lenny and in Ubuntu since Hardy, in the package “gimp-plugin-registry”, which also includes some other great plugins.
To install it, you can use the Synaptic Package Manager, or open a terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install gimp-plugin-registry
The dependencies will be resolved automatically.
Gentoo
The plugin is included in the official Gentoo overlay “sunrise”, you can find the ebuilds here.
It is also still part of the unofficial “roslin” overlay, but this will be dropped at some point, so you'd better switch to “roslin”.1
(The Liquid Rescale Library is also available via “sunrise”).
Arch Linux
There are PKGBUILDs for Arch Linux, for both the library and the plugin.
They're available at AUR (search for “liquid rescale” and you'll find both).
Gnuffy
You can get the plugin by just typing:
spaceman -i gimp-plugin-lqr
in a terminal.
Foresight Linux
From System -> Administration -> Add/Remove Software, search for and install gimp-lqr-plugin, or from the command line:
sudo conary update gimp-lqr-plugin
Git
The latest development code can be found in a git repository, here.
The repo allows for anonymous commit in a dedicated branch. Instructions about using it are here.
Mac OS X
The plugin is already included with the latest GIMP on OS X bundle and is automatically installed when you get GIMP from MacPorts, therefore you don't need to download it from this site.
Windows
Two versions of the plugin are available for Windows:
- Standard GIMP installation version.
- GIMPPortable version for PortableApps users.
See the installation instructions after the download completes.
(Both versions were tested on GIMP 2.6.)

The older 0.3.0 version download page is here.
