Here you'll find download links or instructions for installing the plugin on many Linux distributions.
This is by far the easiest way to install the plugin, and in most cases everything will be done automatically by your package manager.
If you can't find your distribution, or if you don't find an up-to-date version of the plugin for it, you can download the source code, and find the instructions for how to compile and install it, by clicking here.

Fedora
To install the plugin in Fedora, use a package manager, or open a terminal and type:
yum install gimp-lqr-plugin
The dependencies will be resolved automatically.
Debian and Ubuntu
The plugin is included in Debian and in Ubuntu, in the package “gimp-plugin-registry”, which also includes some other great plugins.
To install it, you can use the Synaptic Package Manager, or open a terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install gimp-plugin-registry
The dependencies will be resolved automatically.
Slackware and Zenwalk
Click here to download a compiled package for Slackware i686 of version 0.7.1 of the plugin. The package was compiled and tested on Slackware 13.1.
You will also need to download the Slackware package for the Liquid rescale library from here.
Gentoo
The plugin is included in the official Gentoo overlay “sunrise”, you can find the ebuilds here.
Arch Linux
The plugin is included in the community repository:
pacman -S gimp-plugin-lqr
Gnuffy
You can get the plugin by just typing:
spaceman -i gimp-plugin-lqr
in a terminal.
Foresight Linux
From System -> Administration -> Add/Remove Software, search for and install gimp-lqr-plugin, or from the command line:
